Meet Me
Pronouns: she, her, hers
I am originally from Metter, Georgia, and a graduate of David Emanuel Academy (’08). My dream of becoming a psychologist started in high school and expanded as I learned more about rural mental health. It has always been my goal and passion to serve clients in rural Georgia, particularly southeast Georgia.
After high school, I moved to Statesboro to attend Georgia Southern University (’12, ’15, ’17). I trained in university counseling centers, including the Georgia Southern University Counseling Center and Savannah College of Art and Design Counseling and Student Support Services. I briefly moved to rural Indiana to complete pre-doctoral internship at Purdue University.
After graduating, I spent 6 years working at the Georgia Southern University Counseling Center. In 2020, I opened a small, part-time private practice. I have been a licensed psychologist in the state of Georgia since August 2018.
I am based in Statesboro, Georgia where I live with my husband, daughter, and two pups. Most of my free time is spent with my family either at home, on the Georgia coast, at the family farm in Metter, or in Michigan. I also love to cook, bake, read, listen to music, sit outside, go on Jeep rides, and listen to podcasts and audiobooks.
